Privacy policy

What we collect

• When you buy: your name, email address, billing address and phone number, as entered at Stripe checkout, plus your order details and serial number. Stripe processes your payment; we never see your card number.
• When you download: the time, your IP address and browser identifier, kept as a record of delivery.
• When you activate: your serial number, an anonymous machine identifier and the LayoutPub version, so one serial number is used on one computer.
• When you email us: whatever you send, so we can reply.

What we use it for

Delivering your purchase, sending your serial number and download link, providing support, preventing fraud and chargebacks, and telling you about LayoutPub updates. We do not sell or rent your information.

Where it is kept

Order and customer records are stored in our own database on our web host. Payment records are held by Stripe under its own privacy policy. Site analytics, if enabled, are aggregated and do not identify you.
